Spark EV Technology develops and supplies personalised range prediction software for EVs of all sizes. Spark provides the data for the user interface to show the driver either as a range number, journey prediction or a map overlay which can be deployed as part of the in-vehicle information system (SatNav) or as an aftermarket application.
The core technology is deployed as software development kits (SDKs).
Assure predicts the energy for a route utilising multiple on and off vehicle parameters (driver behaviour, battery, weather, elevations and more) together with a machine learning algorithm that is tuned to each driver and vehicle. The SDK works alongside the existing navigation system to confirm the driver has sufficient energy to complete their journey based on the live conditions for a given route.
Flow calculates the energy costs for each route in all directions, to automatically generate a range boundary overlay on a map along with an accurate range number – all without the driver having to enter anything into the SatNav. Designed to solve EV industry challenges, Flow learns about driver efficiency and route habits, tailoring each map boundary to the driver and their EV.
Utilising the core prediction engine to simplify schedules for fleets of electric vehicles, Fleet provides fleet managers with a multi-point EV journey planner which clearly shows the routes that are achievable within the range available based on each fleet driver and vehicle.
While its dispatch API, which integrates with existing fleet management systems, connects a customer request to the most suitable driver and EV based on live conditions.
